Tsitsikamma National Park

Tsitsikamma National Park is situated at the heart of the picturesque tourist region known as the Garden Route, found in the Southern Cape of South Africa. The park is a long narrow coast that extends for 75km from the Groot Brak River to Nature’s Valley.

Shamwari Game Reserve

Shamwari Game Reserve is a private game reserve situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, forming a natural extension to the famous Garden Route. Shamwari has received numerous international awards, including the World’s Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for five consecutive years.

Outeniqua Choo Choo

One of the most popular day tours along the Garden Route is a trip on the Outeniqua Choo Choo, a historical train pulled by a steam engine. The ride goes through breathtaking landscape with stunning views and hidden valleys inaccessible by car.

Mossel Bay

The name “Mossel Bay” (= mussel bay) originates from Dutch seafarers who found here particularly large quantities of mussels, oysters and lobsters. Mossel Bay  is situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Mossel Bay is a coastal village and harbour of the World Famous Garden Route.

Cango Caves

The Cango Caves has some of the biggest stalagmite formations in the world set in Precambrian (a time about 4500 million years ago) limestone. It stretches for about 4 kilometers.

The Cango Caves are a series of dripstone caverns that open into vast halls of towering stalagmite formations.

Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park (AENP) is situated in a malaria free area just one hour drive from Port Elizabeth. Addo Park  was initially proclaimed in 1931 to preserve what remained of the last 11 elephants population in the region. The park is perhaps now in it’s most significant phase of expansion.
